1. Description

1.1 Title

- Project title: Developing an International Master Programme on Entrepreneurship and Innovation

1.3 Summary

Maximum 10 lines (include information on (a) the aim of the project, (b) the target groups, (c) the main activities and (d) the duration of the project).

The aim of the project is to develop an international curriculum on entrepreneurship among a partnership of Asian and European universities, in response to demands on the labour market and the value derived from cross-cultural links. The target groups from Asia of this international programme in entrepreneurship are graduates from any discipline, but the most likely cohort would include art and design, engineering, science and business studies, working professionals and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises, employees of large firms, and business support agencies. The main activities of the project include the defining of the framework of the programme (e.g. course structure, course content, course delivery approach, and quality assurance system), the development of new courses, training of senior university officials and new course development staff. The duration of the project will be 30 months.

· Oversee the implementation of the project

· Take responsibility of internal evaluation of the project

· Co-ordinate and participate curriculum development

· Develop three new modules

· Support to delivery of pilot programme in China

· Develop sustainability plan (local)/(consortium)

· Develop and maintain the English version website

Duties and Responsibility of the Partner in Harbin Institute of Technology, China

· Publicise the Asia-Link Programme

· Promote this new International Master programme in China

· Co-ordinate project activities of the participating institutions in China

· Develop two new modules

· Co-ordinate activities in the development of quality assurance system

· Deliver pilot modules and one workshop

· Develop sustainability plan (local)

· Develop and maintain the Chinese version website

Duties and Responsibility of the Partner in Kunming University of Science and Technology, China

· Publicise the Asia-Link Programme

· Participate curriculum development

· Develop two new modules and deliver one workshop

· Support to the delivery of pilot programmes in HIT

· Develop sustainability plan (local)

Duties and Responsibility of the Partner in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China

· Publicise the Asia-Link Programme

· Participate curriculum development

· Develop one new modules and deliver one workshop

· Support to the delivery of pilot programmes in HIT

· Develop sustainability plan (local)

Duties and Responsibility of the Partner in Turku School of Economics

· Publicise the Asia-Link Programme

· Participate curriculum development

· Develop one new module

· Develop and maintain the Finnish version website
