The 16th ICBC Cup National College Students Financial Technology Innovation Competition drew to a successful close on December 6th. In this fierce competition, two teams from our college delivered outstanding performances.

One team, supervised by Professor Sun Baiqing and composed of students Song Nianjiu and Zhang Mingyu, participated with their work E-Enterprise Financing – An AI Large Model-empowered Credit Risk Control Solution for Micro and Small Enterprises, and made a breakthrough by virtue of its excellent design. Meanwhile, another team, guided by Professor Huang Yingying and consisting of students Ma Ruhan, Feng Shihan and Jing Junming, earned high recognition from the judges with their project ICBC Wing Start Financing – A Low-Altitude Economy Financial Leasing Platform. Together, the two teams clinched two national first prizes.

Now in its 16th year, the ICBC Cup National College Students Financial Technology Innovation Competition has been successfully included in the catalogue of the National College Students Competition Analysis Report. It has evolved into a benchmark event in higher education with profound brand value and exemplary influence. Themed "Intelligence Initiates a New Journey, Youth Powers the Future", this year’s competition focused on two core directions—"Riding the Wave of Technology" and "Future Banking". It aimed to encourage young students to deeply integrate cutting-edge technologies with banking business scenarios.

The outstanding achievements of our School of Management students in this competition fully demonstrate theschool’s remarkable outcomes in "New Business" development and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents in financial technology. Moving forward, the school will continue to adhere to the philosophy of "competition-driven learning and innovation", guide students to focus on national strategic needs and cutting-edge industry developments, and nurture more outstanding financial talents with innovative spirit and practical capabilities.
