Dean WANG Jian delivered a speech titled Shoulder Pioneering Missions, Unite Young Faculty Strength. He stated that the Young Faculty Association serves as a key initiative to break geographical and disciplinary divides and build a youth community for ideological leadership, academic exchange, mutual growth, and coordinated development, which is instrumental in fostering young faculty and advancing integrated development of HIT’s three campuses.

Dean WANG Jian set forth three requirements for the association and young faculty. First, uphold mission responsibility, support the development of a mission-driven research university, and offer disciplinary expertise for national strategic needs. Second, deepen cross-campus collaboration via joint faculty appointments, co-developed courses, and coordinated research to unify scattered campus resources into consolidated strength. Third, act as new-era pioneers. Leverage the prime period for teaching and research, adopt the AI+ and AI4SS frameworks, fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and deliver youthful achievements for regional growth.
