On June 5, the School of Management held a forum for graduate representatives of the Class of 2026. Zhang Xu, Chairman of School Council, conducted face-to-face exchanges with graduate representatives to learn about their growth and gains over the campus years and extend earnest exhortations to the graduating students. Liu Luning, Associate Dean, secretaries of relevant administrative offices and graduate representatives attended the forum. The forum was presided over by Xu Jianhui, Vice Chairman of School Council.

At the forum, Zhang Xu remarked that building HIT into a world-class university is the shared strategic goal of all faculty, students and alumni. He urged graduates to grasp the Congress’s strategic arrangements, align their thoughts and actions accordingly, and uphold HIT’s New Era Vanguard Culture of mission dedication, truth-seeking, and pursuit of excellence. He called on them to maintain the School of Management’s pioneering posture as new-era trailblazers and contribute disciplinary wisdom to advance HIT toward global academic leadership.

“HIT will always be the home I hold dear, and the School of Management at HIT will forever be the warm harbor that nurtured my academic growth and life progress.” “I hope the School will offer more courses in economic and management culture and literacy, as well as simulation-based training programs, to further cultivate the humanistic and managerial qualities of young HIT students in economics and management.” “As I step into the workplace, I hope to continue contributing my wisdom and efforts to help HIT accelerate its march toward the forefront of world-class universities.”... During the forum, representatives of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral graduates spoke in turn, expressing their gratitude to the university for its meticulous cultivation, recalling moving and unforgettable moments during their campus years, and sharing their insights and reflections on their personal growth. They also offered suggestions on promoting interdisciplinary integration under the “Economics & Management Plus” framework, expanding international exchange channels, and enriching internship and practical training opportunities.

Having listened to graduate representatives’ addresses, attending leaders and faculty congratulated the newly graduated students. Drawing on personal experiences and inspirational quotes, they delivered sincere exhortations, wished graduates fulfilling lives and promising careers, and welcomed their future visits to the School. Associate Dean Liu Luning also presented copies of A Record of Governance of China in the New Era (Volume I) to the student representatives on site.

Upon the forum’s conclusion, all faculty and student attendees visited the History Museum of the School of Management.
