报告题目：Engineering-driven machine learning for quality control with manufacturing applications

报告摘要

With the development of sensing technology, sensors widely deployed in modern manufacturing systems have significantly enhanced the capability to collect real-time data during production processes, providing a data-rich environments for process monitoring and fault diagnosis. However, these data often exhibit characteristics such as high dimensionality, heterogeneity, imbalance, asynchrony, and low signal-to-noise ratio, posing challenges to smart monitoring and quality improvement based on complex sensing data. This talk will share recent advances from IDADM lab on machine learning for quality control to address these real-world challenges. 报告人简介

杜娟博士，现任香港科技大学（广州）智能制造学域和数据科学与分析学域助理教授、香港科技大学联属助理教授、博士生导师及博士后合作导师。她于2014年获得哈尔滨工业大学学士学位，2019年获得北京大学博士学位，2017-2019年美国佐治亚理工学院联合培养博士。她主要从事数据驱动的智能制造系统质量改善研究工作，在工业数据分析和质量控制领域发表高水平期刊论文20余篇，并获得多项国家发明专利和软件著作版权。研究荣获多个国际学术权威协会的奖项，其中包括制造工程师学会（SME）杰出青年制造工程师奖、华人管理科学与工程学会最佳管理实践二等奖及运筹学和管理科学研究协会（INFORMS）年会质量、统计和可靠性分会和数据挖掘分会以及工业系统工程师协会 （IISE）年会质量控制与可靠性分会最佳论文或最佳学生论文提名奖10余次。博士论文荣获中国管理科学与工程协会优秀博士论文、北京大学优秀博士论文。她主持国家自然科学基金等项目7项，作为项目骨干参与国家重点研发计划、佛山香港科技大学专项等，且多次应邀在国际、国内权威学术会议作报告，现为IISE的高级会员、中国机械工程学会高级会员。
