The CSAMSE Female Scholars Luncheon provides a great networking opportunity to discuss challenges in career development and to share experiences that are unique for female scholars in operations research, operations management and industrial engineering. The Luncheon welcomes female scholars at various stages of their career (assistant/associate/full professors, as well as doctoral students) to join the event. As usual, we will have several guests join us and share their thoughts and experiences.

Bio: Guiying Yan received her bachelor, master and PhD degrees from the Department of Mathematics, Shangdong University. She is currently a second level researcher and PhD supervisor of the Institute of Mathematics and Systems Science at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy director of the National Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. She also serves as director of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics and the Women's Working Committee of the Chinese Operational Research Society. Her main research areas include graph network theory and applications. She was awarded the special government allowance of the State Council and the honorary title of "National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker".

Bio: Dongling Ma is an associate researcher of the Women’s Studies Institute of China. She is mainly engaged in research fields of female high-level talents, and has participated in a number of policy promotion research to promote the growth of female scientific and technological talents. She participated in the 2010 National Soft Science Research Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology entitled "Research and Policy Promotion of Women's High-level Talent Growth", and wrote the "Policy Suggestions on Playing the Role of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Promoting the Growth of Female Talents" for the National Natural Science Foundation of China; since 2020, she has participated in the promotion of "Several Measures to Support Female S&T Talents in Playing a Greater Role in S&T Innovation", which is organized by 13 departments including the Ministry of Science and Technology and the All-China Women's Federation in June 2021.

Bio: Yaqing Bai is the head of Community Science Line Data Analysis Center of Kuaishou Technology Co. Before joining Kuaishou, she worked at Amazon China and Alibaba. With 7 years of experience in the Internet industry, she has been deeply involved in the field of data analysis, and has carried out industry practice in multiple directions such as decision support analysis, strategic industry research analysis, business analysis, and data science. Her work in data analysis helps decision makers improve decision-making efficiency, improve business cognition, and explore strategic directions. As a younger manager, she has shown her female leadership in various aspects including team building, employee development, cross-tasks cooperation, etc.
