报告题目：How to Cooperate in Unbalanced Cooperative Games

报告摘要

In an unbalanced cooperative game whose core is empty, the grand cooperation is not sustainable. We consider the case where an outside third party, such as the central government, might be interested in stable functioning of the grand coalition since it might lead to the optimal social welfare. In this talk, I will introduce several instruments for the outside third party to sustain the stability of cooperation. Some conventional cooperative games regarding to operations research are also introduced as implementations.

报告人简介

刘林冬，中国科学技术大学教授、博导。国家优青获得者、中科院青年创新促进会会员、“智能决策博弈与数字经济创新”安徽省哲学社会科学重点实验室主任。2011年毕业于南京大学工程管理学院自动化系，获得学士学位；2015年毕业于香港科技大学工学院工业工程与物流管理系，获得博士学位；2016年起加入中国科学技术大学，现任管理学院特任教授。主要研究方向包括数学建模、离散与组合优化等，以及它们在合作博弈、调度、交通物流等方面的应用。相关研究成果发表在《Operations Research》、《INFORMS Journal on Computing》、《管理科学学报》等期刊。
